The United States announced Tuesday it had ordered all non-essential employees at its Shanghai consulate to leave, while voicing concerns for the safety of Americans in China as the government enforces hard lockdowns
Even negative cases are being quarantined. An audio recording emerged online of a confrontation between a Shanghai couple and a police officer. The couple had tested negative, but were apparently forcibly taken to a hospital after an officer came to their house and declared they were positive.
