We’ve gotten too comfortable asking AI to become better.

Every new model gets smarter. Faster. More capable.

We celebrate when it can do something humans struggled with for years.

But keep pushing that same idea far enough and the question gets uncomfortable.

What if “better” eventually means an AI that is better than humans at almost everything?

Not just writing code or answering questions.

Science. Strategy. Research. Persuasion. Planning. Problem solving.

Would we still be cheering?

Or would there be a point where the thing we’ve been asking AI to become starts making us nervous?

Because superintelligence isn’t just another upgrade.

It’s the point where the machine may understand things that we don’t.

And I’m not sure most people who say they want AI to keep improving have really thought about where that road ends.

How smart is too smart?
