What happened in 2012 that made stock prices for corporations begin to sky rocket?

by RobertLeeSwagger

I noticed this pattern at first when I was looking at defense contractors. Each saw pretty steady growth between 2002 and 2012 the few that I listed below increased between 50% and 140% in those 10 years.

However, after November 2012, they’ve all absolutely skyrocketed. The smallest increase was 180% and the largest was 427%. They all seem to take off around that date.

Is there a catalyst to point to beyond coming out of the recession?
