by Chris Black

Vision 2050 was created by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and has been described by The Guardian as “the largest concerted corporate sustainability action plan to date.”

WBCSD was founded in 1995 by the secretary general of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development. Its membership includes 200 of the world’s largest corporations, including 3M, Apple, Bloomberg, Google, IBM, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Philips, Unilever, Walmart, and more.
