Powerful words from Ukraine’s leader @ZelenskyyUa. The global community must heed his call and do all it can to end the assault and stop the bloodshed. t.co/RlWb2c493a

Zelensky referenced MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech in his appeal to Congress. Because of course you appeal to the gods of your benefactors!
Zelensky invokes 9/11, Pearl Harbor, and Martin Luther King Jr. (?) to demand US military action that even the most virulent hawks concede would spark World War III — and receives a huge, roaring ovation for this. Congress is full of complete psychos

It is worth noting here that Russia’s peace terms are 1.) Ukraine doesn’t join NATO and becomes a neutral country, 2.) Recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea, 3.) Recognition of the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics and 4.) Ukraine ceases military action.
Zelensky is asking us to go to war with Russia over NATO’s open door policy, which he himself has already conceded, but particularly over Crimea and Donbas which are never going to be restored to Ukraine.
He could end all of this tomorrow by conceding Crimea and Donbas are lost.
