Trump wrote Sunday that both sides agreed to an energy ceasefire effective immediately. Zelensky first said the announcement was news to him, then said Ukraine supports it if Russia does. He later reported a Russian drone hit a power plant in Kyiv, causing outages, plus a strike on the CHP-5 plant in Kharkiv and other energy sites. He said Ukrainian skies were filled with Russian drones all day and that the hits came after the U.S. post. Moscow has not confirmed any such agreement. Same pattern as Trump’s mid-September energy-ceasefire claim that never held. The sequence sits on top of Friday’s Putin diesel deal and Saturday’s demand that Ukraine get a new leader and stop hitting refineries.
