Zelenskyy on his way to Japan to crash the G7 summit in person

According to The Associated Press, Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, told the Ukrainian media, “There will be very important matters decided there, so physical presence is a crucial thing to defend our interests.”

Zelenskyy’s likely attendance at the three-day summit through Sunday is aimed at calling for the solidarity of the G-7 nations to continue supporting Ukraine, including by supplying military equipment, foreign affairs experts say.

Bloomberg said he will fly to Japan on a U.S. military plane, possibly from Saudi Arabia.
