The ever-lying BLS will tell you that medical care inflation is currently running at 2.2%
The above article will tell you that:
Health insurance companies in New York State have submitted their rate requests for 2019, and on average, the 14 companies are requesting a 24% hike for individuals.
So only off by a factor of 10x for individuals in NY state…which is roughly in line with other states, however with many being castly higher than that.
Why don’t these lies piss off more people?
That’s a serious question.
