Barr: FBI has made 150 arrests, launched more than 500 investigations related to rioting

Attorney General Bill Barr gave an update Thursday on the federal investigations into rioting that took place across the nation in the aftermath of George Floyd‘s death.

Barr had previously announced that the Justice Department had evidence that outside instigators — including individuals connected to Antifa — were behind some of the violence that appeared to spin out of peaceful protests against police brutality. The attorney general said that “legitimate demonstrations” were “hijacked” by these outside actors, and that federal law enforcement is “building up our intelligence” on the alleged instigators.

 

Seven Elected Democrats Charged in Past Week on Corruption and Fraud Charges

Seven elected Democrats have been charged or plead guilty in the past week to corruption and fraud charges for a healthy “one per day” average.

Last Thursday New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal announced voter fraud charges against Councilman Michael Jackson and Councilman-elect Alex Mendez, two of the winners in Patterson’s recent ward council elections. The two were charged with voter fraud, specifically facing allegations that the duo violated state laws governing the way mail-in ballots are supposed to be collected and filled out. These charges certainly are peculiar because I had previously been told by other Democrats that voter fraud simply doesn’t happen.
