New AI technology being used in stores now. I got caught when 1$ candy did not scan, they just asked me to scan it. The cashier watching the self checkouts was 10 ft away from the machines. What happened is, the guy watching the computer screens in the back room CALLED THE CASHIER watching the self checkouts and advised of the mis-scan.
