Security data released today show at least 10 vessels attacked in or near the Strait of Hormuz since Sunday, the highest single-day totals since the US-Israel-Iran war began. Four were hit Tuesday and six on Sunday. The Singapore-flagged container ship GFS Pride sank after being struck; all 21 crew were rescued. A second vessel, Cape Dao, also went down after earlier damage. UKMTO logged the incidents as projectiles. Iran’s IRGC claimed one ship hit a naval mine on an unauthorised route. Crude flows through the strait have dropped sharply again after a partial recovery. Iranian officials previously told reporters the tempo was meant to keep oil prices high ahead of the US midterms. Brent remains near $104–106.
