I AM MAKING A RETRACTION NOTICE IN THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE. IT IS ENTIRELY MY ERROR, AND NOT THE ERROR OF IWB. THE PICTURE OF OBAMA BELOW IS ACTUALLY MADE IN 2015 IN WASHINGTON DC ON THANKSGIVING. IT HAD BEEN CIRCULATED ON TWITTER AS OBAMA FEEDING VICTIMS OF HURRICANE HARVEY. SNOPES PROVED IT TO BE IN ERROR – OBAMA DID NOT GO TO TEXAS DURING HURRICANE HARVEY. CNN CORRECTED IT ALSO.

This Obama photo, doing the rounds after Harvey, is actually from 2015.
MY ERROR, AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY AN ON MY PART IS I STATED THE FOLOWING: what Barack Obama had taken away during Hurricane Katrina. Obama played golf during Hurricane Katrina leaving the American people alone in the dark.
ALSO, I STATED THIS: Obama played golf during Hurricane Katrina.
AND THIS: Obama was nowhere to be seen near the tragedy of Katrina.
IN FACT, OBAMA WAS NOT PRESIDENT DURING HURRICANE KATRINA. PRESIDENT BUSH WAS PRESIDENT DURING KATRINA.
THE FACT CHECKING SITE SNOPES PROVED THAT THE RUMOR CIRCULATING ON TWITTER WAS IN FACT IN ERROR.

THE CORRECTION TO BE MADE IS: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/aug/17/obama-gets-update-la-floods-heads-back-golf-course/
Obama gets update on deadly Louisiana floods, heads back to golf course.
I APOLOGIZE FOR THE ERROR. THERE IS NOT EXCUSE FOR THIS ERROR, AND I HAVE DECIDED TO REFRAIN FROM ANY FURTHER WRITING.
INSTEAD OF REDOING THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE, I HAVE MADE A RETRACTION ON MY PART. AS YOU VIEW THE BELOW, PLEASE REALIZE THE ERROR IS STILL THERE, AS THIS IS NOT A REPUBLISH….IT IS A RETRACTION ON MY PART.
PRESIDENT TRUMP and First Lady Melania Trump have been a light in the dark for the American people during this tragedy in Texas and now Louisiana. They stepped out of Air Force One in Texas, giving back to the American people what Barack Obama had taken away during Hurricane Katrina. Obama played golf during Hurricane Katrina leaving the American people alone in the dark.
The following image was found on Twitter supposedly of Obama feeding citizens at a shelter during Hurricane Harvey. Snopes proved the photo was not taken of Obama during Harvey. In fact, Obama played golf during Hurricane Katrina. As far as we know, he never viewed the flooding during Hurricane Harvey. The following photo was praised online, although a fake.

This photo was in fact taken of Obama in 2015 during Thanksgiving at a soup kitchen.
The following article proves how the people of Louisiana needed President Obama during Hurricane Katrina, but he was never there for them or for the Country. This is the real Obama.
http://www.lovethispic.com/blog/10270/louisiana-paper-to-obama%3A-quit-golfing-while-floods-destroy-our-state
The quote from the paper is as follows, and I must say this describes my feelings exactly.
“Sometimes, presidential visits can get in the way of emergency response, doing more harm than good,” says THE ADVOCATE. But we don’t see that as a factor now that flood waters are subsiding, even if at an agoninzing pace. It’s past time for the president to pay a personal visit, showing his solidarity with suffering Americans.”
TIME had reoorted that Obama was at Martha’s Vineyard playing golf by day and partying by night. It was an extremely crushing time for Louisiana and the American people, but Obama was nowhere to be seen near the tragedy of Katrina.
During the time President Trump and First Lady Melania visited Texas, he gave the most comforting speech to the Texas people. It was a strengthening time for those in Texas and a unification for the American people.
I have to say that when I saw First Lady Melania Trump at President Trump’s side, I was so proud of her. She had on a ball cap on top of her ponytail, a white shirt and pants, and tennis shoes. She showed those in Texas she was truly one of them. However, she was bashed by the media, because she left the White House in a dress and pumps. How absolutely petty of them, as she made a flight in which she did change clothes. She knew that she would have to do that, and for the media to print so much criticism of her when it was a time to praise her.

President Trump arrived in Texas, where he spoke to the crowd, reminding everyone that Texans are strong and can handle anything. President Trump then grabbed the Texas flag and held it up. It made for a truly touching moment!

In the video below President Trump assures the American people will have what they need in Texas, and flood relief funding will come quickly.
In fact, what has President Trump done for those in the path of Hurricane Harvey? I think it would be a tribute to him if we do summarize what steps he has taken to help those victims of Harvey flooding.
- Briefing in Corpus Christi with Governor Abbott on relief efforts for Harvey victims.
- Upllfting speech in which he raised the Texas flag.
- President Trump instructed banks in the region … to withhold as much cash as possible to get it out, so they can get their trucks eventually to the Houston Fed vaults, take that money out, or use the Dallas vaults, if they need to,” he said.
- The president said existing disaster balances of more than $3 billion are sufficient for the immediate emergency, but promised his administration will send lawmakers a request for far more to help Texas rebuild from the record storm in which catastrophic flooding has hit Houston, the nation’s fourth-largest city.
- Governor Abbott of Texas said: “I’ve got to tell you, I give FEMA a grade of A+, all the way from the president down, I’ve spoken to the president several times, to his Cabinet members, such as secretary of homeland security, such as the administrator of FEMA, such as Tom Price, the secretary of health and human services.”
- The White House released a summary of the Cabinet conference call, saying Trump “continued to stress his expectation that all departments and agencies stay fully committed to supporting the Governors of Texas and Louisiana and his number one priority of saving lives.”
Here are some observations from leaders concerning President Trump’s response to Harvey.
@realDonaldTrump #hurricane keep on top of hurricane Harvey dont mke same mistake Pres Bush made w Katrina
— ChuckGrassley (@ChuckGrassley) August 25, 2017
“Democrats and lib media are no doubt hoping for Hurricane Harvey to make a direct hit on Texas so they can blame @realDonald Trump,” wrote Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke. “Bastards.” Clarke had been an advocate for Trump during the 2016 campaign season and was expected to take a senior position at the Department of Homeland Security until he withdrew his name in June.
We are even seeing Democrats and Republicans working together to help those in the path of Harvey.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is even calling on Republicans to join Democrats in passing an aid package for Harvey. She said that the National Flood Insurance Program is due to expire, and she is concerned for Harvey victims.
The IRS actually said those affected by the storm who had filings due September 15 or October 16 would have an extension until Jan. 31.
I pray that the government can work together to follow President Trump’s lead and bring help quickly to all the suffering of Hurricane Harvey.
Here is a brief summary of Hurrican Harvey:
Tropical Storm Harvey
THE SCALE: The sheer scale of the disaster that’s unfolding in Houston and other parts of Texas right now defies imagination. One weather analyst says Harvey has already dumped 11 trillion gallons of rain on the state. There’s already been 2,000 rescues in Houston alone. Sixty-two counties are under a disaster declaration. And the saddest number of all — two people are dead, but that number will surely rise.
THE FORECAST: The flooding in Houston and southeast Texas is already unprecedented, but it’s about to get worse. That’s because the remnants of Hurricane Harvey moved back into the Gulf of Mexico, where it’ll refuel on moisture before moving over Galveston and Houston again. That’ll bring four more days of rain. And if you live in Louisiana, watch out because Harvey is headed your way.
THE RESCUES: We’ve seen a ton of rescues of people from rooftops and stranded vehicles. People have been using social media to tweet for help. Thousands of people are stuck on cruise ships because it’s too dangerous for the ships to return to port in Galveston. And nursing home residents in Dickinson, Texas, waited patiently to be rescued as floodwaters rose around them.
THE REACTION: In Dallas, officials are prepping a “mega-shelter” for evacuees. In Houston, critics have pummeled Houston’s mayor for not calling for a mandatory evacuation. The nation’s fourth-largest city is flat and prone to flooding, but Mayor Sylvester Turner decided against a large-scale evacuation, saying it would’ve created an even worse “nightmare” if he had “put 6.5 million people on the road.”
And it is not over.
