Guess Which President Won CPJ’s 2017 ‘Overall Achievement in Undermining Global Press Freedom’

by Chris Black

I must start this piece with a statement: liberalism (as in neo-comunism re-branded) is a mental disorder. Now, let’s see about today’s news. There is an organization in the United States called the Committee to Protect Journalists, or CPJ for short. Now, to put things into perspective, President Trump announced that he’s going to be announcing the fake news awards to the most corrupt and biased of the mainstream media on Wednesday, January 17th:

Obviously, this announcement made the propagandists in the Democratic party’s lapdog media to go berserk. The MSM is not comfortable with the American people having a President standing up against the so-called fourth estate, and giving them Hell on each occasion. Moving on with the story, the CPJ has now come out with their own rankings of countries that abuse press freedoms, and in particular of leaders that are the most authoritarian and most dangerous to freedom of the press and to the freedom/security of journalists all around the world. Now, of all of the leaders in the world, who do you  think poses the greatest threat and does the most harm to journalists? You know, imprisons them, tortures them, beats them, kills them if they go against the regime or criticize the leader or the governing party. A sane person may be thinking: I know the answer, it’s that crazy fat kid in North Korea, the mad midget, the rocket man; or maybe the mullahs in Iran, or China’s dictator Xi Jinping; or maybe the Islamist dictator which runs Turkey nowadays, that guy Erdogan, or maybe Vladimir Putin. But no. You’d be wrong.

The CPJ says that the leader that has posed the greatest threat to press freedoms and journalists all over the world is Donald Trump. Like, obviously, doh. They say that the one man that’s the most authoritarian and dangerous of all world leaders, the one who is opposed to the basic freedoms of the press and the safety and security of journalists is the Donald. Because he says mean things to journalists who lie about him, then he does nothing.
They also say he’s one of the most thin skinned leaders in the world, but this prize that he was given is above the likes of North Korea, China, Iran or Russia, where they’re shooting journalists on the streets. In each of these countries, when you criticize the government or the dear leader, they jail you, where you get tortured and beaten usually and sometimes they even kill you to make an example.

The CPJ explained:
While previous U.S. presidents have each criticized the press to some degree, they have also made public commitments to uphold its essential role in democracy, at home and abroad. Trump, by contrast, has consistently undermined domestic news outlets and declined to publicly raise freedom of the press with repressive leaders such as Xi [Jinping], [Recep Tayyip] Erdo?an, and [Abdel Fattah al-]Sisi.”

Brought to you by the same committee that said Israel were the worst human rights violators in the world. The irony is that they kissed Obama’s butt even as he threw reporters in jail for not revealing their sources. In the US under dictator Trump, if you criticize the POTUS they put you on CNN. Or, say for example, if you’re Michael Wolff  and you write a fantasy/fiction/yellow journalism book about Trump, you get a 25 million dollars book contract. That’s what life is like under the Trump-junta, under his dictatorship. At CNN, their ratings went up, so Jake Tapper and Blitzer now make even more money than before, all for bashing Trump 24/7. Under Trump’s dictatorship, you get even more face-time, more airtime and you make millions of dollars more. That’s how tough it is to be a journalist under Trump’s reign. These people are insane. And keep in mind that according to a study, over 90% of the MSM’s coverageof President Trump and his administration has been negative during his first year in the White House.
