I watched this video and, unfortunately, it comes across as more of an educational documentary than as political satire.

Maybe Carlin could have worded things a bit differently. We do have choices. It’s just that we’ve been led to think that our choices are limited when it comes to making our world a better place. To recognize what those choices are, and to then choose well requires a functioning awareness of how the world works. If you listen to Carlin’s speech, you get the feeling that a general public awareness of how the works really works is a pretty low priority for the powers that be.
As a conspiracy theorist, I often get the feeling that me knowing exactly how things work and what’s going on is the last thing in the world that the people who run things want.
