When presidents normally “wag the dog” they start a war. Trump is unique in all sorts of ways, including that he may now be wagging the dog by ending U.S. involvement in a war that remains far from finished. My latest: https://t.co/0gdlRq5x7S

The president has now dismissed or undermined US intelligence assessments on:
– Russian interference in the election
-Saudi Crown Prince direction of Khashoggi murder
– North Korea’s continued missile and nuclear activity

Important thread 👇🏻 – why it is an absolute disaster on the Trump administrations part to pull our troops out of Syria. Lack of understanding, awareness of history and ISIS IS NOT DEFEATED! Make no mistake Trump is apparently as much of an isolationist as Rand Paul… https://t.co/JuTwjTg25W

I am happy to see a President who can declare victory and bring our troops out of a war. It’s been a long time since that has happened. https://t.co/fEBb8080fK
