The clip is from Trump’s Nov 10, 2025 interview on The Ingraham Angle. He said costs are way down, gas is at $2.70 and headed for $2, and the economy is the strongest ever. AAA puts the national average at $4.29 as of yesterday. BLS data shows September inflation at 3.7 percent year over year, with gasoline up 34 percent over the same period. Energy and fuel costs have been the main driver of the recent rise. The “costs are way down” and near-$2 gas statements were not accurate then and are not accurate now.Sources:
