Australia announces “catastrophic” fire danger in Sydney. Kind of like “Extreme Red Flag Warning” in SoCal. Fire weather conditions are getting so extreme the weather services are literally having to make new categories of fire danger. This is climate change, folks. https://t.co/DKxEkHj6vH

News out of New South Wales is getting bleaker.
Tuesday there looks to be extremely dangerous :
The Rural Fire Service issued a catastrophic fire danger warning for the greater Sydney and greater Hunter regions – including the Blue Mountains and the central coast – on Tuesday due to high temperatures, strong winds and dry conditions.
