SAN BRUNO (KRON) – KRON4 is hearing reports of an active shooter at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno.
The City Manager tells KRON4 they’ve received multiple 9-1-1 calls from YouTube, however, they did not disclose the reasons why.
The headquarters is located at 901 Cherry Avenue.
Active shooter at YouTube HQ. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers.

Police have not been able to confirm the report. People near the area report hearing shots fired, police activity and lockdown procedures.
California’s San Bruno Police Department are currently responding to reports of an active shooter at the headquarters of YouTube in San Bruno. Officials have urged locals to stay out of the area.
Police tweeted Tuesday that they were responding to a scene at 901 Cherry Ave, which is the address to YouTube’s headquarters. Images released online show SWAT teams descending onto the scene as persons from the building exit with their arms raised.
Social media users have begun to share images of police on the scene. It is unclear if anyone has been injured.
