This happens hours after r/Wuhan_Flu gets quarantined for ‘hoax content’
Reddit has had a $150 million investment from Tencent, a ‘Chinese censorship powerhouse’ as another Redditor put it.
Looks to me like there must be some truth to these claims if they’re being so aggressively censored. I’ve never seen censorship of this scale over the one topic before.
What are your thoughts?
If anyone else has any more examples of this I’d be interested to see them.
