There’s not been much coverage of the torture chamber in the mainstream media. Funny that…

AfD co-leader Alice Weidel called on Germany’s government to confront Volodymyr Zelensky about the reports during his Berlin visit today. Weidel shared a video alleging that Ukrainian National Guard personnel held dozens of mobilized men in a private house near Kyiv, where some were reportedly beaten. The incident took place November 2 in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka. Reuters reports that 22 men were inside the facility, four of whom needed medical attention. Ukraine has opened a criminal investigation into the incident, while National Guard officials deny the torture allegations. Weidel’s demand puts Ukraine’s treatment of its own soldiers directly into the discussion during a visit meant to demonstrate Germany’s support for Kyiv. Whether Merz actually raised the issue with Zelensky has not been confirmed.
