On the same note, if a Russian woman visited America and was forced to shoot a black attempting to rape her, it would be labeled a hate crime and she would be locked up for the rest of her life.
This would confuse Russians as much as Russians refusing to make special exemptions for a drug smuggler just because they are a black homosexual is confusing to Americans.
We cannot ignore the fact that if Brittney Griner wasn’t a Black woman, it would be plastered across the news that she is being held as a political prisoner in Russia.
