I’ve heard this story a few times. Unless someone can prove otherwise, is this move only for Chinese accounts? Sucks to be Chinese. I don’t think this affects us. And the reference to the “updated terms of service,” if a Chinese person is on top of things they can opt out. Besides, I imagine the government threatened to throttle Apple’s bandwidth unless they complied.
As long as none of this sh*t applies to us we’re fine. If I thought *my* cryptokeys were being stored in China I’d drop Apple like a hot potato.
