The Q4 2020 home price numbers are out from the NAR. The big winners in terms of home price growth? Bridgeport/Stamford CT at 39% YoY and Atlantic City NJ at 30.0% YoY.
So much for my dreams of retiring to the Jersey Shore.
Naples Florida at 29.9% YoY growth followed by Fort Walton Beach Florida at 28.6% YoY.
Kiss that retirement dream goodbye as well.
It looks like Huntsville AL at a lowly 4.0% YoY is where I will retire. Of course, there is a reason why Huntsville is lagging all other cities.
Washington DC/Arlington VA? 10.9% YoY.
