Attorney General Jeff Sessions Is Cracking Down On Sanctuary Cities – It Cannot Continue.

by Pamela Williams

President Trump signed an order in January to withdraw funds from cities that did not cooperate with immigration authorities, but that has not stopped some cities from illegally declaring themselves “sanctuary cities.”

Do these cities not realize they are essentially hurting Americans by sheltering illegals, who go on to do harm to other Americans.  I don’t need to bring up the rape of a 14 year old girl by two illegals in Maryland.  Now, this girl’s life has been permanently damanged, and for what?  Those two illegal men could care less about civilization.  You cannot expect to harbor illegals and not end up in trouble yourself.
I am not saying there is an easy solution to this problem, but I think the first step lies in following the law.  “Failure to deport aliens who are convicted of criminal offences puts whole communities at risk, especially immigrant communities in the very sanctuary jurisdictions that seek to protect the perpetrators,” Mr Sessions told a White House news briefing.  Who in their right mind can argue with this statement?
He said the department would withhold, and potentially claw back, grants to sanctuary cities and other localities that are not in compliance with federal immigration law. Mr Sessions said one Justice Department office was expecting to award more than $4.1bn in grants this year.  Sessions is urging states and local jurisdictions to comply with federal laws.
He also urged the state of Maryland not to make itself such a place.  My question is what would make Maryland take such an action after the brutal rape that has marked the heart and minds of those in Maryland?  I want to find an answer to this question, because I am trying to understand the mindset of the people there now.  Is it all politics?  If it is, God help the politicians.
President Trump said during the election that he would defund sanctuary cities by taking away their federal grants. Trump signed an order in January to withdraw funding from those communities that decline to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, a move that sparked protests across the country. The order did not specify what kind of money could be pulled.  Sanctuary cities include New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, as well as many smaller municipalities.
Sessions claimed that decisions by states or cities to set themselves up as places that provided services to undocumented migrants and protect them from the immigration authorities put the safety of citizens at risk.  He spoke about the sad case of Kate Steinle,  who was killed in San Francisco by an illegal immigrant, who had been deported previously and had recently been freed by local authorities. The murder became a rallying point for President Trump’s newly minted presidential campaign.
Kate Steinle was another young woman robbed of her right to live and thrive in her own country of America by an illegal alien, who had no business being in our Country.  But politicians too busy with their own agenda and clogged courtrooms have contributed to the current mess in our Country.  President Trump is doing everything he can to right the wrongs, along with AG Jeff Sessions.
There are other good men in leadership roles in our Country, who want to protect American citizens from harm.  The announcement from AG Sessions came as the Republican governor of Mississippi signed a new law banning the establishment of sanctuary cities and other policies that might help people who have entered the country illegally.
Governor Phil Bryant, a longtime critic of illegal entry by immigrants, cited President Trump’s executive order banning sanctuary cities when he signed the law. Since Trump’s order, some states added protections for immigrants while others moved to limit such communities.  “The President said these jurisdictions have caused immeasurable harm to the American people and to the very fabric of the republic,” said Mr Bryant.
Then you have this man!  Almost immediately after Sessions spoke, New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a critic of Trump, said he will fight any efforts to defund sanctuary communities in his state.  “My office will continue to ensure local governments have the tools they need to legally protect their immigrant communities, and we won’t stop fighting to beat back President Trump’s un-American immigration policies,” he said.

Lets look at Attorney Eric Schneiderman, who is also a enemy of President Trump.  What makes Schneiderman tick?  Number one, he is a Hillary Clinton supporter and has aided and abetted in helping Clinton get away with her crimes at the Clinton Foundation.
The Clinton Foundation has skirted New York State rules requiring the disclosure of contributions from foreign governments, with the help of New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.  Schneiderman has the power to compel the disclose of names of foreign governments who have given to the Foundation — he has not yet done so.
“He’s not doing his job in that case,” attorney David Nelson told Scripps News, which published a detailed review of the Foundation’s disclosure practices. “The Clinton Foundation cannot say they are in compliance with New York regulations.”
The Scripps review found a Clinton Foundation spinoff, Clinton Health Access Initiative, did not disclose $225 million in foreign government grants to New York regulators. The Foundation proper disclosed only lump sum totals to the state, and stopped disclosing foreign contributions altogether in 2010.
Oh, and here it is:  Scheiderman is a Democrat who serves on Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s leadership council in New York state.  That explains why Schneiderman is a corrupt politician who cares more about illegals than he does American citizens.
Further,  despite publicly extolling the virtue of transparency, Schneiderman himself is the subject of multiple lawsuits alleging secret coordination with other state attorneys general and nonprofit groups. The Competitive Enterprise Institute brought a lawsuit against him after his office denied a Freedom of Information Act request to release all documents involving a common-interest agreement between his office and green activists seeking to intimidate groups who don’t acknowledge climate change. The lawsuit comes in connection with Schneiderman’s public crusade with over a dozen other state AGs against ExxonMobil for its stance on climate change. The case has since faltered.  Schneiderman has made it his goal to topple President Trump, and we should be watching every step this criminal politician makes.

OMG…if Maryland becomes a sanctuary state it will help protect the two illegals who raped the young 14 year old girl!  Watch the above video.

Maryland Democrats this week took a major step to becoming a “sanctuary state,” drawing outrage from Republican Gov. Larry Hogan and concerns it would protect an 18-year-old illegal charged with raping a 14-year-old girl in a school bathroom last week.
The Democratically-controlled House of Delegates voted 83-55 to OK the Maryland Law Enforcement and Trust Act. Generally, it would bar state and local law enforcement from helping federal immigration officials seeking illegals, including requests to detain inmates for deportation.

The passage drew a quick veto threat from Hogan. On Facebook, he said, “The Maryland House of Delegates tonight passed an outrageously irresponsible bill that will make Maryland a sanctuary state and endanger our citizens. This legislation would interfere with our state and local law enforcement’s ability to cooperate with federal law enforcement authorities. I will veto this dangerously misguided legislation the moment that it reaches my desk.”
Jessica Vaughan, the policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies, said sanctuary policies are a public safety threat.
“I can’t imagine how any lawmaker in their right mind in Maryland could support a sanctuary policy after all that has happened there, especially after the influx of illegal alien youths and families from Central America, which swept in a whole new generation of gang members who have been terrorizing immigrant communities. Montgomery and Prince Georges counties in particular have become safe havens for all manner of criminal aliens who should be sent back to their home country instead of allowed to stay here in defiance of our laws,” she said.
Vaughan added, “It’s a disgrace that the Maryland assembly is working harder for illegal aliens than it is for the Marylanders who are harmed by illegal immigration.”
An IWB reader posted the law that makes it illegal to harbor an illegal:   8 USC-1324 Bringing in and harboring certain aliens It is against the federal code and it is a felony with significant prison time. Read it. If Trump wants to get tough,he can indict public officials and private individuals for setting up sanctuary cities. Sessions is being nice. He only wants to with hold Federal Funds, which is also within the power of the Executive branch.
