Police were forced to return illegally seized cans back to the trucker base camp. They never recorded the owners of cans leaving many with lost property.

Ottawa Police can’t seize cans in the truckers possession, but apparently they can arrest people for “Criminal Mischief” and a $1,000 fine for transporting and supplying gas to truckers.

Protest supporters don’t seem phased. Police seem to be powerless to act or simply do not want to be the goon squad for the Ottawa City Council and the Trudeau government.
