Check Out This Shit Facebook Implemented if You Want to View Any Political Ads on Your Page

by Dace

What the Holy F*ck?..Damned:

I hate Facebook…only have one to keep in touch with family and to share pictures with them all easily.

Yesterday…I decided to update my privacy settings and I noticed an option regarding viewing or posting any political ads on your page…

I clicked on it and what the hell?

I copied all the shit on the following various pop-up forms and pages where they now expect anyone to ‘share’ personal info with them.

I quit before it was finished and didn’t submit, but it’s fucking insane the hoops they’re wanting anyone to jump through to view anything political now!

Here’s what you’ll encounter now in the settings menu..

So…yeah….I quit there.

Basically they want you to triple confirm your home address (po boxes don’t count..they want to know where you physically live)

One step involves them mailing you a 6 digit code that you have to receive and enter in order to view anything political.

They also require you to scan and send them a copy (front and back) of either your driver’s license, passport or state ID.

And if you log-in from anything other than your computer, you can’t log-in until they text your phone with a code..

ALL for if you just want to view political ads on your page.
