China Cold War: The Age of Anxiety and Collateral Damage

The U.S. cold war against China has been around longer than the general public realizes. Now Cold War 2.0 isn’t a cute little baby anymore, it’s an unruly adolescent, and that’s making some people nervous. Not just in China, where they’re supposed to be nervous; also in the US business community, and in Taiwanese society, and in the Uyghur diaspora, to mention the three areas we’ll cover this week.
