Cleveland Indians to ‘determine best path forward’ with regards to team name
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The 2020 Major League Baseball season is set to begin in three weeks. Could it be the final one with a Cleveland team playing under the “Indians” name?
In a statement released on the club’s Twitter account, team officials said they are “committed to engaging our community and appropriate stakeholders to determine the best path forward with regard to our team name.”
