They set an example, and you’re afraid to see that example followed. If the situation were reversed, wouldn’t you be saying it’s payback time?”

If the (D)s really cared about democracy they'd accept the drubbing they're about to get, and take the L—to prove they are willing to abide an honest (if massive) defeat at the ballot box. This would do wonders to calm things down. But I don't think the (D)s have it in them.
