The Blue Chip Economic Indicators is a leading economic indicator of future GDP growth. The most recent estimate for first quarter 2023 growth was 1.1 percent on April 26, down from 2.5 percent on April 18th. This model uses data from the US Census Bureau and the National Association of Realtors to predict real personal consumption expenditures growth and gross private domestic investment growth in the upcoming quarters.
