Zuckerberg spent 15 billion dollars in 2022 on this metaverse shit. For further reference, GTA 5 was 250 million dollars, CoD was 200 million. How do you spend 15 billion and have nothing to show for it?
I don’t know Zucc, with 150x the budget of Skyrim you probably ought to have a better demo than fake legs, just saying.
Or for another comparison, Meta is spending 3x the entire R&D budget of *the whole of Sony*, for whom PS4 is < quarter of their revenue.
It’s nuts money and a retarded business move to bet the “farm” on some kind of Matrix type thing, aimed to be tied in with Elon’s neural interface brain chip that is also currently being developed.
I hope we see the fall of Facebook, as they seem completely incapable of innovation. All Zucc did (just like Elon) was to steal other people’s ideas (just like Hollywood recently making remakes after remakes).
