FDA says Kratom "Acts" like Opioids so They Want it Schedule 1

As many on here know, kratom is about as addictive as coffee, helps people get through opioid withdrawal, relieves chronic pain, does not get you “high”, and is not the cause of death among any who have died while having kratom in their system. All 44 of them, as compared to about 63,000 from opioids.
Think about that. 44 versus 63,000.
Well, the government lackey for Big Pharma (FDA) is pushing the DEA to list kratom as a Schedule 1 drug. It will help them to get more people buying heroin on the street to deal with chronic pain.
Not only that, even with kratom being legal, the FDA is seizing and destroying shipments of the leaves. “Law? We don’t need no stinking laws,” says the FDA.

More than 63,000 Americans died in 2016 from drug overdoses, mostly from opioids.
