Major news station fails to even glance at what they’re reporting to see that it’s obviously bogus, because getting it first is more important than getting it right. There is nothing special about that station, the same flaws exist at every level of the news media. The way people eagerly embrace whatever narrative they hear from their chosen station, be it CNN, MSNBC, Fox, or whatever is not just unhealthy, it’s a fetishization.
