The French are really good at protesting.
But it doesn’t matter, because France is a democracy, just like Italy, so the government can do whatever they want, completely disregarding public opinion.
In a democracy, they will send the cops out to beat you. If you somehow keep going to the point where the government feels threatened, the figurehead president or prime minister will resign and be replaced with someone who continues the same agenda.

It is good that there are all these protests everywhere now. I am glad about that. They also seem to be bipartisan. There was a pretty big Washington protest that was bipartisan.
These protests will prepare people to resist the draft, and potentially to side with Russia in the event of an invasion.
But it won’t change policy.
