France has already started making headlines months ahead of the 2022 presidential election. French far-right presidential candidate Eric Zemmour was reportedly assaulted at his first rally. Some videos show Zemmour being grabbed by a man at the rally near Paris on December 5. Violence broke out as thousands cheered Zemmour’s anti-immigrant and anti-islamic rhetoric.
