George Wallace on State’s Rights: “Not one of the 13 colonies wanted to enter the state of the union unless they were GUARANTEED a government of limited power.

Property is desirable. It is a positive good in the world. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another, but let him work dilligently and build one for himself. Thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built.

  • President Lincoln

It is readily apparent that the loss of respect for the right of private property will destroy the initiative and incentive of liberty, and freedom loving people. It is this damaging trend which we find shot through the civil rights act of 1963. It paves the highway of compensation for past grievances. If they are to be compensated, that means they will have to take from you to give it to them. You just think on that because that sets a dangerous precedence. It is an attack on your very right to own and keep.
