German Gen Z protests turn to looting and clashes

Youth-led “Gen Z regelt” protests over living costs, school funding, and military service drew tens of thousands Saturday across German cities. Evening violence in Frankfurt, Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg: shops looted (including a gun shop), windows smashed, Molotovs thrown, police used water cannons.
