All the bulls saying this shit is priced in are under the same misunderstood mindset of the general public right now. “We deal with this for a few weeks and then life goes back to normal.”
News flash retard, that’s not the timeline.
Buckle the fuck up because I’m about to learn you some shit.
The point of social distancing is to slow the spread of the virus so that hospitals don’t get overloaded at once, but the current timeline on the plan is one year or more.
I’ll say that again for the people in the back.
That is one year of public quarantine.
This isn’t Mickey getting a quick dip in profits. This is the mouse losing 80% of his revenue sources for the next 12 months.
*”But America is doing a bad job quarantining so it’ll be over sooner than that” you stupidly sputter over your 3/16 Spy 300 calls.
Yeah, we are. But that doesn’t mean we won’t have a quarantine in effect, it just means we’re going to see a MASSIVE spike in cases as soon as we start actually testing.
The thing about Beer Flu is you’re infectious as soon as you catch it, and young adults often don’t show symptoms at all.
This means thousands of Typhoid Marys are wandering the country spreading this shit faster than that 0-symptom virus you made in Plague Inc.
So what happens when we finally start testing and our numbers skyrocket?
First off, mass panic as tens of thousands of infected people who don’t even need treatment flood hospitals that are already over capacity, taking attention and resources away from immunocompromised patients that do. The news plays off this fear and people finally start to realize they should take it seriously as dead grandmas rain from the sky.
We still do social distancing. But there’s far more panic than before, and we all know what the market does during mass panic.
Also, if Tariff man is positive (which he probably is) he just infected a bunch of the countries biggest CEOs on live TV.
This shit has got a lot farther to fall.
tl;dr – Late April/Early May puts. 🌈🐻gang
