Events – current happenings as reported by MSM
Velocity – the speed of something in a given direction
Acceleration – an uptick in the rate or speed of something
I coined this term for what many are experiencing right now. Dizzying event speed.
things are happening WAAYY too fast!
Kavanaugh just happened, then the invading caravan, and now an Injun with fake bombs…
what will tomorrow morning bring? I have no idea, but I do know in 3 days some brand new, unexpected event will make the news cycle do its bidding.
and no one will be even thinking about the van.
our lives are not accelerating to this degree. Days still take 24 hours, a baby does not grow into college application time in a month. While this is true –
the rate with which events are forced upon us feels faster than ever.
Why?
to desensitize us
to make us feel we can never be up to speed
to make any action you take feel too little, too late.
