Do you remember the 1987 movie, Predator?
Predator was a spine-tingling, science-fiction horror film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the commander of an elite, all-male team of U.S. Army Special Forces on a mission to save hostages in guerrilla-held territory in Central America. There, in the humid jungle, they encountered the Predator, a technologically-advanced ET monster who relentlessly stalks and hunts the soldiers.
Made with a budget of $15 million, the movie grossed nearly $99 million in the U.S. alone.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
We can always count on Hollywood to remake movies into leftist crap, and the latest reboot of Predator is no exception.
David Menzies of The Rebel.media made the mistake of renting the movie. The good part is he watched it so we don’t have to.
Menzies writes:
The lousy ratings were warranted and even the low 28 per cent viewer rating on Rotten Tomatoes was generous!
In addition to boasting that which is known as “a plot,” the original 1987 Predator also had an uber-macho cast that today would be seen as “toxic masculinity” — so the new version offered a heapin’ helpin’ of “girl power”, by way of a female scientist who inexplicably morphs into a super-soldier halfway through the flick.
And then there’s the “big reveal” scene when we all get to learn why these irregular space aliens are coming to Earth on an increasingly frequent basis.
Spoiler alert! The explanation is …. climate change.
So, do yourself a favor and shun The Predator reboot.
