I can’t donate to somebody I’ve never met? Is that what you’re telling me, Ben?

This particular lie is a simultaneous demonstration of the propaganda strategies of “lying by omission” paired with “a lie by obfuscation.”

They intentionally withhold critically important details that directly contradict their narrative claims. Aka omitting the obvious financial connections between Alvin Bragg and George Soros’ political donation orgs.

Then attempt to further convince a prospective reader, preferably those with presumed flawed critical thinking skills, by purposefully obfuscating the actual claims being made by the opposition. In this case via a disingenuous and biased “moving of goalposts” by arbitrarily redefining the implied meaning of Republicans “claims of Alvin Bragg’s connection to George Soros.” Wherein they intentionally confuse a lack of obvious social connections or evidence of a physical meeting between the two, with a lack of financial backing for Bragg by Soros.
