In Philadelphia Armed Robbery is up by 30% year over year

Unfortunately, the city of brotherly love is seeing a spike in armed robbery and burglary. According to Philadelphia Police stats robbery with a gun was up 20% in 2022 versus 2021. Also, property crime that includes burglary and theft was up 30% in 2022 versus 2021. Shockingly, this year is still seeing an uptick in robbery and theft as a continuation from last year. Therefore, businesses and residents in Philly must take extra security precautions to prevent being a victim of robbery. Businesses can hire armed security personnel to deter armed robbery during business hours. Also, residents can install a doorbell camera at the minimum to record strangers at your entrances and a home security system for enhanced protection
