For years leftists have appealed against funding for Israel or support for Syrian “rebels” or the war in Iraq based only on moral grounds.
Those are sound reasons, but these conflicts, which the Jewish state is always at the center of, affect us in more direct ways as well.
Last spring, during the war between Israel and Hamas NJP wrote this piece detailing how Israel not only instigates conflict which leads to refugee flows into Europe, they also manage and fund the NGOs that directly place military aged men from states that are in conflict with Israel in the heart of Europe.
