Oconomowoc residents have been asked to shelter in place following a bank robbery
Residents in the Oconomowoc area are being asked to shelter in place as an “ongoing police incident” is occurring near I-94 and Golden Lake Road.
Residents of the area were sent an emergency alert text about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The alert read: “Waukesha County Sheriff and other law enforcement agencies are requesting those in the area of I94 and Golden Lake Road (Oconomowoc) shelter in place for an ongoing police incident. Proceed to interior room or basement, lock all exterior doors. When appropriate, an all clear message will be sent.”
