Meanwhile on the Economic Front

The dollar plus jump in gasoline remains even though oil has lost the entire “invasion premium”.

How can it be a Putin Price, if the war still goes on and oil isn’t above $120?

The shipping nightmare continues unabated. Getting freight booked from Asia is virtually impossible. Looks like Christmas is gone again. Maybe they can get the plastic trees that were supposed to be delivered for 2021 in time for Christmas 2025.

Last fall Hasbro announced price hikes for just about everything. Some toys went from $19.99 to $22.99 retail price with an April date for the new pricing. Instead of hitting the shelf at $22.99, the price went to $24.99. $50 items went straight to $60.

Biden looks to even leave Carter in the dust.

$100k a year is the new poverty line in most of the United States.

In 1995, if you made $100k a year, you’d be looking at gated communities and country clubs.

In 2025, the best you’ll be able to afford will be the homes the bottom rung blue collar guys used to live in.

The Fed prints the money. They are to blame.

If you haven’t noticed, the bills in your pocket say they are Federal Reserve Notes.
