Minnesota Freedom Fund is an organization that pays bail for protesters. It has, since George Floyd’s death, raise in excess of $25 million, but has only paid out $200 thousand for bail.
The organization is being heavily criticized over a tweet stating that it has only paid out $200 thousand. Since that time, the organization has taken down the “Team” page from its website.
Luckily, someone archived it: archive.is/aF45V
Where is all the money going?
Appreciate all those calling for transparency. We see y’all. Our values and mission have not changed since 2016. Be on the lookout for things coming on our end. Be well. t.co/ocWVGrYzcj
