The tech stuff starts at about the 3 minute mark which will lay the foundation for why it was so difficult to take the current model of their world and retro fit it to it’s original state. Blizzard originally said the same thing Don Pettit said when asked if they were going to release Classic World of Warcraft servers. They said they wouldn’t be able to do it anymore because they didn’t have the technology. This is also mentioned in the video and explains how they were able to manipulate their world to fit the old model.
Just thought it was interesting that NASA says they can’t go back to the moon because they didn’t have the technology, and Blizzard said they wouldn’t be able to rebuild their world because of the same reason.
I’m beginning to think this whole thing is scripted. I want to change servers!
