by Charles Hugh-Smith The cold truth is homelessness and soaring rents are the only possible outputs of central bank policies that inflate asset bubbles. It’s been a long, strange economic boom since the nadir of the Global Financial Meltdown in 2009. A 10-year long boom that saw the S&P 500 rise from 666 in early 2009 … Read more

Wolf Richter wolfstreet.com, http://www.amazon.com/author/wolfrichter Oh dude, glad no one saw it. My fancy-schmancy Fed Hawk-o-Meter checks the minutes of the Fed meetings for signs that the Fed believes the economy is strong and that “accommodation” needs to be further removed by hiking rates, or that the economy is strong but not strong enough to raise … Read more

By Lance Gaitan It’s probably a good thing the government partially shut down in December. It delayed the exposure of some dreary economic updates in the face of a falling stock market. Retail sales figures for the important holiday month were finally updated last week, and they were terrible. Excluding auto and gasoline, sales were … Read more

Of course this is blacked out in the U.S. MSM because in the context of the Class War the media is the tool of the corporate masters. Summary: HB 1442 is a bill(not law yet) in North Dakota that prohibits drunk stops or other interference with free travel unless there’s reasonable articulable suspicion that the driver is intoxicated by something, or some other infraction or violation. The video is stupid and too long. I hope the bill passes, but it shouldn’t even … Read more
