COVID-19 is swirling ever closer to President Trump: At least 11 Secret Service agents have reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus.
The agency is responsible for protecting Trump, the first family and other world leaders.
Besides the active cases, at least 23 other agents have tested positive and recovered from the infection and another 60 remain in quarantine, Yahoo reported, citing to a Department of Homeland Security document that the news outlet had obtained.
“To protect the privacy of our employee’s health information and for operational security, the Secret Service is not releasing how many of its employees have tested positive for COVID-19, nor how many of its employees were, or currently are, quarantined,” the Secret Service told Yahoo in a statement.
