When the COVID vaccines were initially developed, there was a global push to pressure the vaccine manufacturers to release the patents and allow poorer countries around the globe to cheaply produce their own vaccines. This would have cut into the Big Pharma profits, however, so humanitarians like Bill Gates teamed up with the pharmaceutical industry to quash the campaign. Meanwhile, we’re now learning from the Twitter Files, the industry was also pressuring social media companies to censor anyone who criticized the industry or advocated for eliminating the vaxx patents.
